The setting and concept of Dune Awakening Solari U4GM  are exciting, but I really hope Funcom gets the tech side right. Open-world survival MMOs are notorious for unstable servers, lag, bugs, and poor scalability. If they want this game to have long-term success, they need a solid infrastructure from day one.

Server architecture is key. Is this going to be instanced or fully persistent? Will we have private servers like in Ark or Conan Exiles? That would be great for community building and modding. Speaking of which — mod support could be a game-changer. Imagine community-built missions, new biomes, or even custom factions based on lesser-known Dune lore.

A game like this will live or die by its player base. If they give us tools — for clans, trading, in-game politics, map control, or even storytelling — we’ll build the world ourselves. But they have to provide that foundation. Customization also matters. Let us design gear, settlements, maybe even vehicles (ornithopters anyone?).

And please, please optimize it well. I don't want another title that looks beautiful but runs like a potato unless you have a 4090.

I’d love to hear what systems people want. Are you hoping for traditional MMO raids or more organic survival challenges? Would you prefer narrative quests or player-driven politics?
